【摘要】:1.1Thisperformancespecificationcoversperformancerequirementsforicehockeyhelmets.1.2Theintentofthisperformancespecificationistoreducetheriskofinjurytotheheadwithoutcompromisingtheformandappealofthegame.1.3Thisperformancespecificationcovers:(1)performancetestsforshockabsorptionpropertiesofthecompletehelmetandstrengthandelongationofthechinstrapanditsattachment;and(2)requirementsforareaofcoverageandpenetration.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section12,ofthisperformancespecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
