【摘要】:1.1ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsandteststocheckthesafetyinnormaluseofelectricalaccessorieswhicharenotcoveredbyotherspecificBritishStandards.Suchaccessoriesareintendedforuseinhousehold,commercialandlightindustrialpremiseswhere:?thenominalsupplyvoltagedoesnotexceed250Va.c.single?phase,50Hzto60Hzor250Vd.c.;?theratedcurrentoftheaccessorydoesnotexceed63A.Unlessotherwisestatedbythemanufacturer,accessoriesconformingtothisstandardareintendedforconnectionbycablesorflexiblecordsconformingtoBS6004,BS6007,BS6500orBS7211.1.2Thisstandardalsocovers:?“plug-in”andotheraccessoriesinwhichelectricalaccessorycomponentssuchasplug-pins,socket-contacts,switches,terminals,etc.areincorporated(see5.1);?maintenancefreeaccessories(see3.31).1.3Accessoriesconformingtothisstandardaresuitableforuseunderthefollowingconditionsofservice:?anambienttemperatureintherange-5°Cto+40°C,theaveragevalueover24hnotexceeding25°C;NOTE1Undernormalconditionsofuse,theavailablecoolingairissubjecttonaturalatmosphericvariationsoftemperatureandhencethepeaktemperatureoccursonlyoccasionallyduringthehotseason,andonthosedayswhenitdoesoccur,itdoesnotpersistforlengthyperiods.?asituationnotsubjecttodirectradiationfromthesunorothersourceofheatlikelytoraisetemperaturesabovethelimitsspecifiedabove;?analtitudenotexceeding2000mabovesea-level;?anatmospherenotsubjecttoexcessivepollutionbysmoke,chemicalfumes,orotherabnormalconditions.NOTE2Accessoriesconformingtothisstandardmaybesuitableforuseinotherconditions,subjecttoagreementbetweenmanufactureranduser.Informationgiveninamanufacturer’scataloguemaytaketheplaceofsuchanagreement.1.4Requirementsforelectromagneticcompatibilityarenotgiven,asaccessoriesdonotinthemselvesproduceextraneousemissions,noristheirfunctioningaffectedbyexternalemissions.Thereforenoemissionorimmunitytestsarenecessary.Itshouldbenotedthataccessoriescontainingactiveelectroniccomponents,otherthanluminousindicatingdevices,maybesusceptibleto,oremit,electromagneticinterference.
