【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscoverhouseholdmotor-operatedfoodpreparingmachinesandkitchenaccessoriessuchasknifesharpenersandcanopeners,thatareintendedtobeoperatedforshort-periodsoftimeresultingincumulativeuse-timeperyearoflessthan100hoursandthatareforuseinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode.1.2Inthefollowingtext,arequirementthatappliestoonetypeofequipmentcomingwithinitsscope,suchasablender,ormixerwillbesoidentifiedbyaspecificreferenceinthatrequirementtothetypeofequipmentinvolved.Intheabsenceofsuchspecificreferenceorifthetermapplianceisemployed,itistobeunderstoodthattherequirementappliestoallofthetypesofequipmentcoveredbythestandard.1.3Theserequirementscovercord-connectedandpermanentlywiredmotor-operatedappliancesratedatanominal120or240Vincludingappliancessuppliedbylow-voltagepowersupplies,andbattery-operatedappliancesprovidedwithbatterychargers.December1,2004.1.4Theserequirementscoverappliancesforhouseholduse.TherequirementsintheStandardforMotor-OperatedCommercialFoodPreparingMachines,UL763areemployedfortheevaluationofappliancesalsointendedforcommercialapplication.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotcoversanitation,contamination,ornoiseaspectsoftheseproducts.ReferencetotheseitemscanbefoundintheStandardforFood,DrugandBeverageEquipment,ANSI/ASMEF2.1.1.6AnapplianceemployingaheatingelementisjudgedonthebasisofitscompliancewiththerequirementsofthisStandard,insofarastheyapplyandfurtherappropriaterequirementsapplicabletohouseholdcookingappliances.
