【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversaprocedurefordeterminingtheabilityofcoverplatesforflat-platesolarcollectorstowithstandimpactforcesoffallinghail.Propellediceballsareusedtosimulatefallinghailstones.Thispracticeisnotintendedtoapplytophotovoltaiccellsorarrays.1.2Thispracticedefinestwotypesoftestspecimens,describesmethodsformountingspecimens,specifiesimpactlocationsoneachtestspecimen,providesanequationfordeterminingthevelocityofanysizeiceball,providesamethodforimpactingthetestspecimenswithiceballs,andspecifiesparametersthatmustberecordedandreported.1.3Thispracticedoesnotestablishpassorfaillevels.Thedeterminationofacceptableorunacceptablelevelsofice-ballimpactresistanceisbeyondthescopeofthispractice.1.4Thesizeoficeballtobeusedinconductingthistestisnotspecifiedinthispractice.Thispracticecanbeusedwithvarioussizesoficeballs.1.5Thecategoriesofsolarcollectorcoverplatematerialstowhichthispracticemaybeappliedcovertherangeof:1.5.1Brittlesheet,suchasglass,1.5.2Semirigidsheet,suchasplastic,and1.5.3Flexiblemembrane,suchasplasticfilm.1.6Solarcollectorcovermaterialsshouldbetestedas:1.6.1Partofanassembledcollector(Type1specimen),or1.6.2Mountedonaseparatetestframecoverplateholder(Type2specimen).1.7ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
